Responsible for managing and analyzing content licensing data and financial reporting for long-term planning, budgeting, and decision support in a dynamic media environment.

What you should do:

  • Maintains an updated Long-Term Library of Licenses (Foreign and Local Titles) classified according to internal and group instructions using an Excel or Access Database permanently reconciled with the updates input in MIS.
  • Prepares the content cost part of the annual budget according to assumptions approved and communicated by management.
  • Prepares monthly reports for both actual and forecasted amounts and deliver it to FP&A;
  • Prepares Library Roll Forward on a quarterly basis (or with any other frequency established by the company).
  • Provides Board materials for the Programming Section any time when such documentation is prepared.
  • Prepares based on Long Term Planning reports such as: Programming Syndication Overview, Library Overview, and Licenses Expiry Overview by categories such as studios, years, grades, slots etc.
  • Prepares any ad-hoc report requested by management or by the CME Group related to information to be extracted from the Library.
  • Provides explanations, analysis and conclusions on any report prepared.
  • Maintains updated Payments Schedules detailed for each acquisition contract to provide monthly input to Treasury and Controlling Departments necessary for monthly forecast process.
  • Prepares annual cash budget and long-term payments schedules related to Existing Library and planned additions.
  • Conduct regular profitability analysis on existing and potential content, evaluating relevant metrics to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

What we want you to know:

  • Economic background (graduate of Academy of Economic Studies).
  • 3+ years experience in financial reporting or audit.
  • In depth understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Access.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data and produce meaningful insights and information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time management skills, ability to prioritize issues.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Good command of English language.
